Cannaday Chapman was born in Huntington, West Virginia and raised in Upstate New York. He Studied communications design at Pratt/Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute before receiving a scholarship from New York City’s School of Visual Arts where he earned a BFA in illustration. While in school, Cannaday earned multiple awards and recognition. Including a scholarship award from the Society of Illustrators and work featured in CMYK Magazine #37 and #41.

Cannaday has had work published in a variety of different markets including educational, editorial, and advertising. His work has also been featured in 3x3 Illustration Annual.
